On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are very excited to invite you to join us in Tetovo, Republic of North Macedonia, for the 6th International Scientific Conference on Business and Economics (ISCBE 2023):
“ECONOMIC RECOVERY, CONSOLIDATION AND SUSTAINABLE GROWTH: CRISIS-2-CRISIS EVIDENCE, DEBATE AND PROSPECTS”.
The conference will address a wide range of areas relevant for contemporary business and economics issues such as economic shocks, high inflation, energy crisis, Covid-19, growth prospects, economic forecast, labor market, gender inequalities, migration, entrepreneurship and family businesses, firm development and innovations, technological transformation, etc.
Researchers will have the opportunity to discuss emerging challenges and perspectives of business and economics in the perspective of post-crisis economic recovery, consolidation and stability.
The conference will also organize a workshop on: “Carrying Out an Empirical Project”.
The conference also strongly encourages PhD and master’s students to participate.

Keynote Speakers

Dr. Léo-Paul Dana is professor at ICD Business School of Paris, Groupe IGS, France. As well, he is a professor at Dalhousie University and a visiting professor at LUT School of Business and Management Lappeenranta University of Technology. He is also associated with the Chaire ETI at Sorbonne Business School. A graduate of McGill University and HECMontreal, he has served as Marie Curie Fellow at Princeton University and Visiting Professor at INSEAD. He has published extensively in a variety of
journals including Entrepreneurship: Theory and Practice, International Business Review, International Small Business Journal, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Small Business Management, Journal of World Business, Small Business Economics, and Technological Forecasting and Social Change.

Dr. Leon Eisen is an inventor and serial entrepreneur, venture partner at GSD Venture Studios, GVI Ventures and Network VC, Chairman of Oxitone Medical, Senator at the World Business Angel Investment Forum,
strategic adviser and keynote speaker with 20+ years of solid technology, business, and leadership experience. Leon is an affiliated member of the Royal Society of Medicine (UK), a member of the Forbes Business Counsel, and an official mentor at the Israeli Export Institute. Dr. Eisen holds a Ph.D. in physics from the Weisman Institute of Science and studied business and entrepreneurship at
Harvard Business School. He invented and successfully commercialized the world’s first FDAcleared wrist pulse oximetry monitor and has more than 30 patents worldwide and 20 scientific publications

Dr. Andrea Caputo is Associate Professor in Management at the University of Trento, Italy, and at the University of Lincoln, United Kingdom, where in 2018 he co-founded with other academics the UNESCO Chair in Responsible Foresight for Sustainable Development. He received his PhD from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy. His main research interests include entrepreneurial decision-making, negotiation, digitalization and sustainability, internationalization and strategic management of SMEs. He is the editor of the book series “Entrepreneurial Behaviour” (Emerald), and Associate Editor of the
Journal of Management & Organization, Management Decision and BRQ Business Research Quarterly. His award-winning research was published in over 100 contributions, including articles in highly
ranked journals, e.g. HRM Journal, J of Business Research, J of Small Business Management, Small Business Economics, Int Small Business J, Int J of Conflict Management, Studies in Higher Education, Business Strategy & the Environment and IEEE TEM among the others. In 2021 and 2022, he was ranked among World’s Top 2% Scientists List of outstanding researchers prepared by Elsevier BV, Stanford
University, USA.

Submission Policy

One unique author should be registered for each paper or abstract accepted for presentation and publication.
One participant can be the author of one up to two papers. In case when a person is the author or coauthor of more than one accepted paper, each paper must have at least one unique author registration to be accepted for conference presentation and publication. If multiple, same-single-author papers or abstracts are submitted and accepted, registration fee must be paid for each of them in order to be scheduled for conference presentation and publication.

Review Policy and Proceedings

Submitted papers are subject to a double-blind review process which greatly assists in the elimination of
any perception of bias for or against an author or institution based on “name” recognition, country, gender, etc. Papers are evaluated based on originality, clarity, methodological standards of a research paper, significance of their findings, and clarity of exposition. The double-blind review for papers to be published in sponsored journals will be conducted by the sponsored journal itself.
Conference proceedings include full-length papers that have successfully passed the review process or
evaluation. The proceedings with be published by the renowned publisher SPRINGER in printed and electronic form and have all the features of an academic publication, including its own ISBN number which introduces it into a fully refereed conference publication.

Authors are invited to submit full papers only. The paper’s length should be from 4,000 – 6,000 words.
(Times New Roman, 12, single spaced). Title page of the paper should include author(s) affiliation, email and short biography (100 words).
