About the conference

A rigorous legal sciences forum shaped for European academic dialogue.

This conference provides a high-level interdisciplinary platform for legal scholars, judiciaries, policymakers, and practitioners to examine the transformative power of legal reforms within the context of European integration. The central theme focuses on the dual challenge of harmonizing national legislations with the Acquis Communautaire while simultaneously building robust institutional frameworks that uphold the rule of law, justice, and fundamental rights.

Key discussions will address the structural reforms of the judiciary, the fight against corruption and organized crime, the protection of human rights in the digital age, and the evolution of administrative and civil law to meet European standards. Special attention will be given to the unique legal hurdles faced by Western Balkan countries in their path toward EU membership, exploring how legislative quality and judicial independence can foster democratic stability and socio-economic progress.

We strongly encourage the active participation of PhD students and early-career researchers. The conference offers an excellent opportunity for doctoral candidates to present their ongoing research, receive constructive feedback from established experts, and engage in meaningful dialogue that will shape the region’s legal and institutional future.
